PRODUCT REVIEW

From left ( Toffee, Toast, Nude, Fawn)

The l.a pro concealers are really nice. these concealers are  perfect for highlighting and when used on the face tend to cover very well.
L.A cosmetics is doing a good job, when these concealers came out, I wondered what the hype was about but when I got mine, i believed the hype, its amazing.

LIKES

• Its water based.
• Packaging is amazing, as u can see, it comes in a tube like pack, which allows you to press out the quantity you need, (what if you over press?)
• it doesn't crease, as long you set properly.
• Good coverage.

DISLIKE

• I think my only problem with this, is the question above, you can open up and return or better still clean, but possible chances of spoiling, because of the spring connecting the tube and cover.

NYX JUMBO PENCIL

Hi everyone, today am doing review on a popular pencil, am so sure a lot of people know it, but if you do not know it, is called the NYX jumbo pencil in milk. NYX actually produced this as an eyeliner pencil but beauty lovers discovered other use of this pencil and that's part am in love with.

LIKES

• Its very creamy
• its a good base for shadows.
• its helps colors to pop, shadows stay all day and don't crease.
• its affordable, quality higher than price. (I hope I made sense)

DISLIKES

• Because of its creamy nature, sharpening is so annoying. as you sharpen, the content goes with it, it can be so annoying. the pencil is really jumbo, you will need to get big size sharpener.

FAB BRUSHES

         Brushes are must have tools in the makeup field, if u are an artist or love to do good makeup, brushes are a must have for anyone in the categories. Some people often ask why do I need brushes, cant I use my hand, and that’s a good question, for your foundation (personal application) you can use your hand, it blend s well but as a professional you can’t use your hand, never, who go allow you do that can tin for e face. So your brush is a must have. Even for personal use, it can get messy. K.So today I will be showing you my fav makeup brushes.

 The first one is the real techniques expert face brush: am so in love with these brushes, this particular brush allows you to apply foundation both cream and liquid flawlessly, it picks excess and blend perfectly.

 I was glad when I came across this bush, really wanted to replace my foundation brush, that normal flat one, I didn’t like the way it works when applying, especially with blending and excesses. So, this is a must have. I swear u will love it, the bristles are so soft, tru!

elf studio powder brush

The other one is the ELF studio powder brush, this brush for me is an all in one, it works well for both foundation and powder, so if u decide to use it for everything, no wahala, and the bristle are firm and blends well. You will love it when setting your foundation on your face, it buffs powder in wellla!!!!.

The last brush today is the real technique setting brush.i came across this brush when I was looking for what use to set my under concealer after application, because of the tenderness of the skin under eye, didn’t want to use anything that will be too harsh to that area and make a client uncomfortable, I initially went for the blending wedges but trust me, this setting brush gives a better result than the wedges. It picks little amount of powder and goes into the area u want it.

                 Maintenance is very important, you can clean using your wipes and wash with brush cleaners but me ooh, I don’t use brush cleaners, I use water and shampoo, coz for me I see them as human hair, so I maintain them like I do for my hair. Just put water in a bowl, add a little shampoo, then dip your bushes and move back and front motion, remove and rinse in clean water, dab on a towel and that’s it.

Hello everyone,still on the holiday ,the three days public holiday in abuja, still creating looks.So, i decided to try the cut crease look.and these were my results. pictures below

This is pretty it.i love the contouring and highlighting on the face and i tried two different lip colors, a red and a dark purple and they blend well with the eye.so feel free to try yours.

BROWLESS SISTER

This sister of mine,her name NNEOMA CYNTHIA, she was going for a shoot with her son and asked me to help her beat her face,so i decided to do little touch ups and this was the result.
Sorry, i did not upload the before,she is browless,that is, she has no hair at all on her brow,is bare, she didnt take it out oooh,she was born that way, i had to create brows for her and am sure i did a good job.
 Below are products are used
FACE

• Mix of 507 and 607 of marykay foundations.
• Milani powder 
• black opal blush in ginger
• black opal invisible oil blocking powder.

EYES

•  tara  bown brow pencil

PRODUCT REVIEW

Hi beautiful people, today i will be doing a review on a product  called BLACK OPAL, trust we all know the brand, the one with its fake everywhere in the market, but today,am not bringing you the fake.
The  brand actually came out with a new line of products called EVEN TRUE, the foundation in this very line is not like the others.the common feature with black opal foundations are the fact that they are oily,"oily no be here oooh", bt trust me on this,this particular foundation from the new range(even true) is amazing.

the pictures above are how the even true foundation looks like and the last picture is the cream itself.

LIKES

• The packaging is perfect,it comes in a tube form as you can see above,the packaging allows you to press out the quantity you will need,instead of pouring and wasting.
• the tube has a cap which you can actually remove and replace,this allows you to return excess amount you press out.
• A little amount of this foundation goes a long way.
• It has a good coverage and also the finishing is not bad at all.
• It is oily free.

DISLIKES

• It is on the thick side.

Something else i noticed, is that,you cant use the old shades to buy for this new one.am actually a beautiful bronze but the beautiful bronze in this range is a bit darker.,so i will go for the shade before this,which is a hazelnut,so if you will buy.test before you get it.
 Please,don't buy your makeup from any beauty store you are not sure of .for those in abuja, i will surely recommend PERFECT TRUST,am sure they have original stuffs when it comes to makeup.
     So if you have tried any of the black opal even true foundations,please leave your comments and what you feel.

Iman stick foundation

Hi ladies,
today i ll be doing a review on a foundation i came across and i thought it ll be a nice idea if i did a review and shared some information on it.
Above is the iman stick foundation by the famous iman,we all know this lady and her product line, suitable for black women,trust me on this..........k

Reasons why i love the foundation:

• the stick is very dry
• the packaging is good and easy to use
• it has a powder finish,you don't have to use powder when you are done applying.(optional anyways)
• it stays on all day.

Things i do not like about it;

• Application techniques
• packaging is fragile,can easily break or scatter,if it drops on the floor continually.

Yes,am sure someone is wondering,what does she mean by application techniques,because of the the texture of the foundation and dryness,blending into skin can be troublesome,lines of foundations are visible.so,i ll leave some techniques according to skin type.
OILY SKIN; if you have oily skin,first apply primer before you apply the foundation.you can use your finger tips to blend in or still a wedge sponge.
COMBINATION SKIN; if you have a combination skin,first apply a moisturizer then the foundation.your finger tips can also be used,it allows easy blending.
DRY SKIN; i actually do not recommend this foundation for someone with a dry facial skin,because is very dry, i mean it when i say is very dry.but if you already have it and cant throw it away,use moisturizers that are oily before  application.
     The foundation gives a medium to full coverage depending on how u apply and blend.if you feel a need to use pressed powder on  afterwards,i ll advice you dab in a little with a brush,using an invisible powder ll also be perfect.
